SAP Basis Engineer

For one of our global clients in Germany we're currently searching for a SAP Basis Engineer as part of an exciting global program.


Background: Our customers SAP Systems hosted in NAM and APAC will be migrated to new Azure Cloud based IaaS, while SAP systems hosted in EMEA will undergo transformation to S/4HANA with migration to SAP Private Cloud (SAP RISE).


*Start: ASAP / June latest

*Duration: 12 months ++ (multiyear project)

*Location: 100% remote


Main tasks include:

*Migration of several SAP systems to Azure Cloud

*Oracle upgrades & migrations between platforms (Windows -> Linux). Administering Oracle on Linux/Unix

*Installations, system copies, upgrades, patch implementations, migrations of systems mainly based on SAP NetWeaver (7.4 & 7.5)

*Performance analysis, tuning and troubleshooting of SAP ERP (ABAP), SAP Portal (Java), Oracle DB on Windows and Linux, (additionally HANA DB, Sybase ASE and MSSQL DB)
