Project Manager / Lead - Spare Parts / Inventory Planning

For our client in Germany we're currently searching for a Project lead / Manager for an Inventory planning / Spare Parts project.
The role is to lead the clients inventory planning initiative, which at the first phase is the software / vendor selection and implementation partner selection.
*Start: June 1st
*Duration: Initially 3 months (extension possible to delivery the project)
*Location: Remote + travel to Hamburg (mainly remote is also possible)
Main tasks:
* Launch the pre-project
* Prepare the following to allow for a project decision to be taken:
o Business targets & requirements
o Business case
o Shortlist of suitable software suppliers, incl. recommended top 1 & 2
o Implementation concept, preferably for cloud native solution which can
integrate with SAP
Languages: German & English
The ideal candidate will have:
• Very good knowledge of spare parts inventory management and Supply
Chain planning
• Experience in relevant spare parts business
• Exposure to different softwares / vendors
• Experience with pre-projects / vendor selection / RFPs etc
• SAP knowledge
